AssetJournal™, the successor to OpenJournal™, leverages the technologies used in the development of MindShare, yet maintains the simple and effective OpenJournal paradigm. AssetJournal™ is a single-user desktop application that provides interactive project and workflow documentation and knowledge transfer capabilities. A linked hierarchical workflow-oriented user interface and file structure makes this application well suited for providing complex workflow documentation.
This Java based application provides a vehicle to deliver templates for interactively documenting and sharing projects such as workflows, reports, notebooks and presentations for common tasks. AssetJournal™ allows users to document crucial decision-making steps with tools such as screen capture, image annotation, text input, and linkage to web sites, files, programs, email, and other projects. It automatically publishes projects in HTML that can be viewed and navigated using any web browser.
Find out more about AssetJournal™.There are many tools currently on the market that enable organisations to collaborate internally, and across organisational boundaries.
Many consist of rapidly-deployed common project areas which include predefined tools for project management, communication and document sharing. However, the weak point in most of these applications is the inability for project members to interact in a document-centric environment beyond simple file sharing, a key demand for most professional project teams working in information-rich industries.
Badley Technology has created MindShare and its predecessor, OpenJournal™ for such environments. Throughout product development we have worked closely alongside highly qualified professionals to meet the demands of rapid capture, dissemination and development of information and data. This is reflected in the organisations we are partnered with, and the clients who routinely use our products.
